Thank you so much to everyone who attended our benefit concert, "Truths in Music," on Sunday. Through your generosity, we have raised $800 for the Harmony Project to help promote youth development through music education. Throughout the night, we heard our wonderful performers play pieces from various composers, including Mozart, Chopin, and Gershwin, and enjoyed light refreshments toward the end.

Our benefit concert for the Harmony Project is coming up in less than two weeks, and our team and performers have been hard at work putting together the finishing touches and perfecting their pieces.
In our article, co-chair Simon Yu writes that "what we see as a small event is actually the possibility of someone getting lessons in music and going to college." This became the inspiration backing the name of the concert, "Truths in Music." You can read the rest of the article and take a look at our concert flyer down below. This past weekend, Music For You performed at Sunrise Villa Senior Homes in San Ramon. The senior citizens at Sunrise Villa joined us as we shared our favorite pieces and our holiday cheer with them.
This past Saturday, Music For You had the chance to perform in the Ignite Art + Innovation festival held in downtown Pleasanton. There were several pianos painted by student organizations throughout Main Street, but we performed in front of Towne Center Books.
